5 Healthy Christmas Gift Ideas Your Friends Actually Want
Several years ago, during the holiday season, I was thinking of what gifts would be PERFECT for my friends. And talk about pressure.
I was stressed because I figured since I’m a nutritionist here in Australia, they should be healthy and reflect the culture of our land. It was needless pressure I added to myself. WHY would I do that when it’s stressful enough this time of year?
Besides, nobody’s perfect. Gifts come from the heart, and that’s the best we can do.
That’s when I realized… what if I just give them what I already like and use? I brag all about my favorite things anyway, so now it’s a great time to share them too. And I’m proud to say my friends were thrilled, which is why this is the protocol I follow every year, and why I’m sharing it with you and your friends, too.
Here’s a detailed list of my top 5 suggestions for this year, including the links to buy. You may even get a couple for yourself, too.
(You’re welcome!)
5 of My Favorite Healthy Gifts for the Holidays
1. Matcha Tea Set
if you’ve been following me for a while, you will know how much I love and adore matcha tea. It’s a daily staple. You can read my blog, where I tell you all the amazing health benefits and how to make a matcha tea latte. Which is why I think there’s no better gift than sharing a matcha tea set! It provides a small ritual for an enticing, warming, energizing and healthy beverage.
2. Time Stamped Water Bottle
We all can say we’ve forgotten to keep up with our hydration goals. To help, I developed this water bottle as I found it impossible to keep my consumption on track too. This water bottle is a must for your friends and family to remember how much to drink each day, inspiring them to get more H2O into their bodies.
3. Organic Herbal Tea Collection
Herbal teas are a great idea to keep your family and friends hydrated in a tasty way. Tea Tonic’s organic sampler chest comes with 32 tea bags in many different varieties that anyone will love. I suggest trying the signature Complexion Tea and my very favourite, Licorice Lover. Plus, buying helps a small Australian business who do great things.
4. Nurturing Experiences
We all need a little pampering, and gift certificates are a great way to show appreciation for those you love the most. There are so many options, and you’ll find some amazing experiences in their town for them to try!
→ Google or Yelp: ‘floatation tank’, ‘day spa’, and ‘aromatherapy massage’ for the best local options.
5. Blender or Cold-Pressed Juice Machines
We all love fresh juice, but the number one question I’m asked is what juicing equipment is the best. Number two is about how hard they are to clean. That’s why my recommendation is to buy an horizontal, cold-pressed juicer, they’re more costly but much easier to clean and get the most out of your ingredients.
→ Get a Nutribullet or an horizontal cold-pressed juicer.
→ Or get this a vertical unit for less.
Have fun shopping for my favourite things to give to your favourite people, knowing you helped your friends be a little healthier.
Happy Holidays!
